Lifting Chair
Lift chairs are designed to assist people to a standing position from a sitting position. They look very similar to other upholstered recliners but appearance is where the similarity ends. Lift chairs have a recline and lift mechanism containing a motor, in some cases two motors, that not only moves the chair up or down but reclines the back and raises the foot rest. When you want to recline or get out of the chair, you simply push a button and the motor/motors move the chair into a standing position so you can simply walk out of the chair. Electric lift chairs are a great benefit to caregivers as they provide the lifting action required to move the patient from a sitting to standing position.
Solutions has a lift chair on permanent display at their showroom, they are also available in several colour and a choice of fabric or geniune leather upholstery.
